For fun and as a practical exercise divide the class into 6 groups.
Play a different song (popular kwaito, hip hop; opera, country, line dancing, pansula, gospel, Kaapse Klopse etc.) for one minute to each group.
Explain that each group will get a turn to dance to their particular song for one minute. (Encourage learners to move to the beat of the music and to use their different body parts) while the other groups observe.
After each group had danced they can report back on the body parts that they swung; shook; swayed, jiggled; nodded; lifted; etc.
This will integrate perfectly with the following subjects: Language (verbs); Life Skills (traditions of different cultures); Physical Education (dancing).
