After the completion of Topic 1 the learners will be able to:
- Investigate and compare the strength of selected materials.
- Read the boiling and melting points of different materials.
- Measure the temperature of water as it heats up to boiling point, draw accurate line graphs, understand and explain the results.
- Investigate what happens when water heats up and boils.
- Read and write about how a material [metal/plastic/fuel] is produced and its impact on the environment.
