Ask the learners what happens when they hold their hand above:
a fire at a braai (show the fire lighters);
a candle that is burning (light the candle);
a heater that is switched on (switch the heater on);
an electric stove that is switched on. (Possible answers: heat of the candle flame / heat from the coals of the fire/ heat from the stove’s plate/ etc.).
