- The learners sit in two groups (boys and girls).
- They debate about a science topic (e.g. Which liquid cools down faster: coffee / tea / milo / hot chocolate?)
- A scribe writes their group’s hypothesis down.
- It can be practically done and monitored to prove whose hypothesis was correct.
- Learners complete Worksheet B: Investigate heat conduction through different metals.
- Teacher to use WORKSHEET B: Memorandum to mark the learners’ work.
